No tickets matched the Mega Millions winning numbers Tuesday night, sending the lottery’s estimated Friday jackpot to $251 million.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were 5, 35, 42, 58, and 66, and yellow Mega Ball 22. The Megaplier was 2X.
Although nobody won the $279 million U.S. – Mega Millions jackpot in the lottery drawing for Friday, July 12, 2024, there were still plenty of people who won smaller prize amounts.
Nine tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball for the $10,000 third prize; third prize belonged to the owner who marked Megaplier 2X, which helped to multiply 2 times the prize value to $20,000;
In total, more than 617,100 tickets won cash prizes totaling $2.89 million in Tuesday’s drawing.
