One lucky man in UK is the world’s newest millionaire after a winning ticket was drawn for Friday night’s EuroMillions lottery.
EuroMillions’s winning numbers for its Friday, October 10 drawing were 6, 7, 17, 20, 21, plus Lucky Stars 1 and 10.
11 tickets matched all five numbers and a star to win the €60,131 prize.
There were also 13 tickets that won a €11,891 prize.

All Across Europe, the EuroMillions drawing produced more than 2,135,400 winning tickets, with players winning lower-tier cash prizes worth a combined €10.76 million.
EuroMillions has been available to play since 2004 in European countries such as France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Luxembourg and Ireland, as well as in Great Britain and Switzerland.
National lotteries run the Euromillions together so they can offer higher jackpots and reach more people.
In the EuroMillions lottery, five of the numbers 1 to 50 and two of the 12 star numbers are chosen. The draw is the same for all participating countries and takes place weekly, Tuesdays and Fridays between 8:45 PM and 9:30 PM in Paris.

You have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim EuroMillions prizes in the UK. Most winners will claim within the first few days or weeks of finding out that they’ve won, but there is certainly no obligation to do so. Your claim will be valid at any time within the 180-day window.

If you lose your ticket you may still be able to claim a prize but you must make contact with the National Lottery within 30 days.
