The top prize is the 5th biggest Powerball jackpot and the 7th largest in U.S. lottery history, Powerball said in a statement.
If someone matches all six numbers and wins Saturday’s drawing, the winner has a chance to get the $1.50 Billion prize paid out in yearly increments or choose to get the one-time lump sum of $686.5 million before taxes.
There have now been 43 consecutive Powerball drawings without a big winner, according to game officials. The last Powerball jackpot won was on 06/09/2025 after a ticket sold matched the winning numbers and won the prize of 1.8 billion
