One lucky man in Spain is the world’s newest millionaire after a winning ticket was drawn for Friday night’s EuroMillions Superdraw lottery.
EuroMillions’s winning numbers for its Friday, October 4 drawing were 4, 8, 16, 17, 20, plus Lucky Stars 1 and 6.
12 tickets matched all five numbers and a star to win the €94,700 prize.
There were also 20 tickets that won a €13,279 prize.

The EuroMillions Superdraw (also known as Megadraws in Ireland & Super Jackpots in the UK) is a special lottery event organised periodically to guarantees massive nine-figure jackpots.
EuroMillions Superdraw operates under the same rules as regular draws. The only difference being the size of the guaranteed jackpot.
To win the EuroMillions you simply need to match all five primary numbers and each Lucky Star. As well as selecting five main numbers between 1 & 50, EuroMillions lottery players also choose two extra numbers. These extra numbers are called the Lucky Stars, and the numbers span from 1 to 12.
If there’s no lucky lottery player who wins the jackpot, the main prize will roll over to the following draw. Just like regular draws, if nobody wins the main prize the jackpot rolls over until it reaches the jackpot cap of €250 million.
If the EuroMillions Superdraw jackpot is not won, it will roll over until either the jackpot cap of €250 million is reached or somebody matches all five primary numbers.
Players have 90 days from the date of the relevant draw to claim EuroMillions prizes from tickets purchased in Spain.
The jackpot has reset to an estimated €17 million. The next drawing will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
