No one hit Monday’s $224 million jackpot. The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $240 million, with a cash option valued at $113.6 million.
The winning numbers were: 3, 9, 26, 61 and 67. The Powerball drawn was 13 with a Power Play of 2X.
The Powerball prize keeps getting more massive because of the inability of anyone to overcome the long odds of 1 in 292.2 million and win the jackpot. To take the top prize, players must match all five white balls and one red Powerball.
Powerball is offered in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26).
